Of
course in our statements we wanted our business to gain as much profit even
though this is just our first year in business. Unfortunately, we have more
liabilities and it is a good thing that we do not have any bazaars to do
anymore. We’re guessing that if we continue doing this in a daily basis for a
year, our business would kick off but as of now our financials did not look
good as what we were expecting. Raw
materials have high price. We have fruits as one of our main ingredients and
the price of these is seasonal. Hiring a sales lady was really expensive. We
sometimes did not meet the expenses of the rent to what we have sold for the
duration of the bazaar. At one point we kept on spending more than what we had.
Negotiate Php 250 as the salary of the
sales lady to minimize our expenses as a group.
Chose bazaars that had a
reasonable rent fee but a lot of foot traffic.
1. We became more aware of how important money is
and how easily it can vanish.
2. Thought of more practical things to spend on.
3. Finding good help nowadays is expensive and hard.
4. Businesses don’t necessarily have to be situated
on class A and B areas; it has to be where the foot traffic is at.
5. Learned how to budget our
profit well enough to make us survive other bazaars.
